Who this covers

FoundTheMove ("we") is an event discovery reader for Black cultural events. This policy covers foundthemove.com, foundthemove.lovable.app, and anything we operate under those domains. It doesn't cover third-party sites we link to (Instagram, ticketing sites, venue pages) — their own policies apply.

What we collect

• Account email + password when you sign up. If you use Google sign-in we receive your Google email and basic profile.
• Your saves, follows, and vibe-quiz answers so we can build your feed and remember what you liked.
• What you submit to us: links, screenshots, curator nominations, claim-form details (name, contact email, proof link), and any messages you send.
• Notify-me emails if you sign up for city coverage or the Thursday Drop.
• Outbound click counts — aggregate counters on ticket links, DM CTAs, and share buttons so we can see what works. We don't build per-user browsing profiles.
• Standard server logs (IP, user-agent, request path) for security and abuse prevention.

What we never do

• We don't sell your data. Ever.
• We don't run ad networks or third-party ad trackers on the site.
• We don't take pay-to-play from venues or promoters. No sponsored ranking.

How we use it

To render your feed, deliver the emails you opted into, verify curator claims, prevent abuse, and improve which events surface. Aggregate click data helps us understand which events and curators land — never to profile you individually.

Retention

Account data lives until you delete your account. Submissions and claim records are kept as long as we operate, so we can defend the co-sign trail. Server logs rotate within 30 days. Notify-me emails stay until you unsubscribe.

Your controls

You can unsubscribe from any email via the link in that email. To delete your account or request removal of your data, email privacy@foundthemove.com (or hello@foundthemove.com). We'll confirm within a reasonable window.

Kids

FoundTheMove isn't directed at children under 13. Don't sign up if you're under 13.
