London R&B singer/songwriter Skye Newman delivers raw tales of dysfunction and self-actualization in her powerful, husky voice over soulful, strutting, minimalist instrumentals.

Born in south London, Newman grew up in a chaotic, dysfunctional environment where family members struggled with addiction and she moved often between different homes.

As a child she took refuge in music; she began writing at 11, and was recording in studios by the age of 13. After finishing school, she decided to release some of her songs on social media.
